FRIENDSHIP

Friendship

From an insignificant little seed
Rises even the biggest tree.
In a casual meeting of the eyes
Each friendship gets the sprout.
Nurtured by love, care and all
Dear plant stays a lovely green.
Some are left to be on their own
Hardly can they hold for long.
In this friendship day, let us
Pledge to protect our plants.

Because

Finding us wet in tears of pain
Rarely will they leave us alone.
In times of tension tough to bear
Enter they slowly like a breeze.
Needs a shoulder to lean and cry?
Dont worry, they have a spare.
Sweeter they make our moments of joy
Happy we are in their presence.
If not for them, this garden of mine
Pretty dull and dry, I would feel.
